  1. Words…

A lover who can stroke my mind, paint my skin, penetrate my body, seep into my soul…

    With words…

*That* lover is one with whom I will share my *own* magic.

      1. The potential for bliss… Perhaps.

“…they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts…”

There is a fine line between peace and petrification; between calm and terror; between pleasure and pain.

There is a great vulnerability in words. In the pouring out of one’s own, as well as in the immersion in another’s.

        1. … yes, as there is a great power and delicacy in mutual vulnerability. Walking all those fine lines, sharing, and being witness to the other’s words has the potential to pierce through the well-constructed walls that prevent deeper communion… with ourselves and others.

And yes, this has lots of potential… for bliss, and not-bliss. Ah, life.

  2. I found this, and thought you might like it:

    Words are things,
and a small drop of ink,
falling like dew upon a thought,
    produces that which makes thousands,
    perhaps millions,
    think.

    ~ Lord Byron
